Who is Slinkachu?
Slinkachu is a London based street photographer who is known for his project called the Little People. Every time he does his artwork on the streets of London he leaves it there for people to discover. Another projects his inner City Snail Project, in which snails with small graffiti's or other embellishments provided will be placed in the city.
- This is one of Slinkachu's first pictures from the little people project, the picture tells a story about a man sitting down enjoying the beautiful view over the water.
Slinkachu’s second solo show entitled ‘Concrete Ocean’ (opened on 3 March 2011 at Andipa Gallery in Knightsbridge)
David Gulliver an artist that also creates Slinkachu
David Gulliver uses a lot of contrast in colour, unlike Slinkachu they're done inside a studio which therefore gives him more control over his lighting, also David uses reflection very well in his photographs. In my opinion is prefer Slinkachu's photography because he has the skill to control natural light and create masterpieces that are left for the public to find. I plan on bringing in food to do a shoot in his style, I will make the four and background out of focus.
These are some amazing pieces of Slinkachu's work
This is my favourite image that Slinkachu has taken, because he is replicating a scientist analyzing molecules, he's used various photography techniques like a small depth of field and a high aperture to focus on one point of the picture while also getting the background in the shot.
My Slinkachu Project
My plan for the Slinkachu project plan was to get the little people and use them in my photos for shoots, using props and the surroundings in my school area.
First Shoot Idea
My first idea is to get a little person and explain a story with a sentence.
Second Shoot
My idea for the second shoot is to re-enact a car crash scene with a few bystanders, while the victim is bleeding out on the floor.

First shoot
In my opinion the second picture that I have taken of the script that the man wrote is the best because the focus point and depth of field is right. I love the bird's eye view angle because it shows basicially an overwiew of everything giving all emotion and feel of the picture.
MY WORST PICTURE
This is my worst picture because the writing isn't in good focus also the picture seems to dark because there isn't enough light exposed to the paper also I didn't use flash.
MY BEST PICTURE
This is my best picture because everything is in great focus and it shows the story of a man that needs to grow to be a better person, my F.Stop is on 5.6 and manual focus also my light shows great reflection of the pen and shows the writing clearly.
MY SECOND SHOOT
In this shoot my plan was to remake a car crash scene basically in this shoot a man gets ran over and he's stuck under the car and the driver and witness doesn't know what to do....
MY BEST PICTURE
In this picture I could have got a better focus point but my time was very limited and I didn't get enough pictures taken but in my opinion the idea and stuff is great and the picture shows the story very clearly.
MY THIRD SHOOT
In this shoot I captured a family meal, in my opinion these are some good pictures and that as a analyser you can see that they are not a very exciting family.
Third Shoot
Worst Picture
Best Picture
In this picture I've added a rather extravagant ironic approach, because they are a well dressed, rich and well advanced people but they live in the ghetto, around violence and exposed to things not seen in an every day life of a rich family.
Also I like this picture because it is a irconic twist to rich people's everyday lives which therefore they are experiencing things poorer kids and adults see, using the rule of thirds to draw the viewer's eyes towards the centre, its not to under exposed or over- exposed, plus I have extended the range in the depth of field as my whole picture is in focus.

My Best Pictures....
Evaluation.....
In my opinion this project went very well, I have used my artists research, David Gulliver and Slinkachu to give me strong, imaginative ideas on what to plan and also what types of shoots to do, I've learnt from them that using my surroundings is creative and it makes magnificent pictures. My first thoughts on there work was that it is very interesting and creative, they use reflection and their surroundings very well. I am pleased with my final outcomes because they show off my editing and photography skills.
